Terms & Conditions

Terms and Conditions

  1. When a client books with an instructor from Mountain Masters, the client will be sent a final confirmation email 6 weeks before the lesson(s) are due to start. Final confirmation emails include a payment link for the booking. Lesson(s) must be paid for in full at least four weeks before they are due to start.

  2. Bookings made within 4 weeks of the date they are due to start must be paid for in full at the time of booking.

  3. No refunds will be given for changes or cancellations to a booking within four weeks of the start date of the lesson(s).

  4. No refund will be given to clients who fail to attend their lessons.

  5. We cannot be held responsible for conditions out of our control such as bad weather or piste/lift closure. Refunds will not be given in the case of accidents, illness or cancellation. We will, however, be happy to write a letter to your insurance company for any of the afore-mentioned cases or if the lesson is cancelled due to injury.

  6. With regard to the number of people attending the lesson, the price will be based upon the maximum total number of people skiing with the instructor at any one time during the session.

  7. When more than 6 people are in a group the price shall be based on a pro rata rate of the cost of a lesson for 4-6 people.

  8. Kids groups will only be run once a minimum 4 kids have booked into the group. If there are 3 kids or less in the group, the relevant private lesson rate will be applied, shared equally between the number in the group. If kids only attend a couple of sessions instead of the planned 5, the rate remains the same.

Please note that instructors may sometimes need to switch kids into more suitable groups for their level during the week. In this situation, the school reserves the right for kids groups to be run with a maximum 7 kids so as to ensure that levels are properly balanced within and between the groups.

Whilst we leave it to the parents' discretion, we do ask that all children under the age of 16 wear helmets. We strongly recommend this form of protective equipment be worn as standard. For kids under 12yo, helmets are mandatory. Junior helmets can normally be rented in the resort.

  9. Although every effort will be made by the office to keep clients well-informed, it is the client’s responsibility to ensure they know the meeting point and time of the lesson and to make themselves known to the instructors.
