Kids race groups
run in partnership with MM Race Team
The MM Race Team kids groups are hugely popular and a logical 'next step' for those kids who are pushing on and wish to make significant high end technical improvements as well as enjoy the competitive side of the sport.
The kids race groups are run separately to the school by MM Race Team, which is owned and run by Rupert Tildesley and Dave Cowell, both of whom are full time members of Mountain Masters Ski School and BASI Trainers and also run the BASI Race Coaching courses for aspiring coaches.
There have been many success stories from the Mountain Masters race program, with former pupils racing for the British Team and one who stood on the second step of the podium at last year's British Championships.
A typical week involves 3 mornings of training in both slalom and giant slalom and 2 mornings of racing (one slalom race, one GS race). Your instructor will often race with you. Slope fees for training and race fees are included in the cost of the week. All training sessions have video feedback as part of the break mid-lesson.
There is also the possibility to attend the British Championships in Tignes during the Easter holiday race week and last year two groups attended with considerable success.

A break is planned every morning for the kids to rest for 15 minutes, somewhere warm, usually in an mountain restaurant. If you want your kids to have a snack or a drink, please, think about providing them with some Euro coins.
